First Time Around the Island

All is still in Yarmouth

At Yarmouth on the 10th April we had a nice evening and good rest before Pauline’s first trip around the Channel side of the Isle of Wight.

Bank Holiday Blues

So, started our First Season. After East Cowes Marina we headed for Southampton (Town Quay) to meet up with Hill Head Club mate Paul Benstead who also had a Legend 36 and had been a great help. After a few days in the Marina, avoiding a gale, and buying some galley and comfort things for the boat, we finally left for Yarmouth. A quick lesson that Legends do not like full sail at over 15 knots and settled down to a heavy ride.
