Held up at Yarmouth

We are parting for home, after 3 days at Yarmouth and worse weather due.

Touring the Isle of Wight by bus!

Next day, at Yarmouth and stuck in harbour due to storm arriving soon, we toured the island on a bus!

We also went for a SECOND bus ride over to Ventnor.

Yarmouth Bound

After yesterday's accident Brenda needed to rest so her and Graham stayed at our home. They were going to stay there for the rest of the week. We sailed towards Yarmouth, stopping of Hill Head. We anchored off the Osborne View and rowed ashore to have lunch with them.

Then we set off for Yarmouth with the idea of going direct to Alderney and completing our planned trip.

A Disastrous Start

A pigeon landed on the boat as we were sailing off Bembridge. It flew into the cabin. Brenda tried to throw him into the air off the boat twice and he came back. Obviously tired, he settled onto the boat until he flew off of his own accord and hour or so later

Unfortunately, soon after this Brenda became seasick and went below. She then got thrown across the cabin and hit her face on the wooden cupboards.

So the trip had to be abandoned and on our return to Portsmouth we took her to QA hospital.
